Volunteer mentoring

Are you a current college student in Omaha looking to make a difference?

In our Academic Mentoring Program (AMP), we bring elementary aged students to Bellevue University, Creighton University, University of Nebraska - Omaha, and Metropolitan Community College. During session, we facilitate mentorship time, engaging future-readiness activities, and fun campus excursions.

As a volunteer mentor, your role is to show up to all twelve sessions throughout the academic year (six in the fall semester and six in the spring semester), help students visualize their futures, assist students during activity time, and develop inspiring bonds that allow students to reach their full potential.

Sessions are held on campus, making travel minimal. All necessary training is included, and SAVE staff facilitates all sessions.
